"We had tried everything to help our daughter with extreme anxiety. She was entirely exhausted from the everyday fight. After trying every modality we could find, and seeing several therapists, she no longer wanted to talk it through. Everything we tried just didn't stand up to the anxiety that overwhelmed her everyday, all day.  Dynamical Neurofeedback changed her life, and as you can imagine as her mom, it changed my world." Acting as a mirror to the brain Dynamical Neurofeedback gives the central nervous system information it does not perceive or receive in any other way, in the same time frame. Meaning the brain gets to "see" what it's doing

in-the-moment.

With in-the-moment accurate feedback from Dynamical Neurofeedback, the brain will course correct to more optimal functioning, restoring flexibility and resiliency that is always and already there.

Let's use anxiety as an example to better understand. Although it seems so, the symptoms of anxiety do not just happen in the moment. If we could micro-record the brain and psycho-physiology we would see that there is a series of events in our brain that have to happen in order for us to experience anxiety. Once these events are set in motion the brain is unable to detect them soon enough and therefore unable to stop them, and we will go into the full experience of anxiety.

Dynamical Neurofeedback® interrupts these events, allowing for a new or different experience to occur: transformation becomes possible.

Dynamical Neurofeedback®  provides the information or feedback the brain needs to self correct, and self regulate, this process allows the brain to release patterns that can get in the way of it functioning well.  Said another way, Dynamical Neurofeedback®  prompts the brain to respond to the present instead of retrieving habitual reactions or patterns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, etc.

"Neurofeedback is harnessing our own brain's ability to self correct using feedback. That's it."

Unlike Linear Neurofeedback, Dynamical Neurofeedback® is Free of Side Effects

Other types of neurofeedback manipulate or direct the brain towards what is considered normative data, dynamical neurofeedback is the world's only non-directive neurofeedback system. It is able to alert the brain of its activity, without stimulating, manipulating, or pushing the brain in any certain direction therefore, there are absolutely no side effects.

Other neurofeedback systems rely upon the belief that there is a "normal" brain and therefore require an expert to push or direct the brain towards assumed normality, which can result in adverse side effects. Instead of chasing problems Dynamical Neurofeedback® simply prompts the brain to do what it does best and naturally: to use present based information to self-correct for optimal functioning. This non-invasive prompting encourages the brain to return to far more efficient and effective operation regardless of internal and external challenges and demands. It's Dynamical Neurofeedback's permeability with the brain’s natural processes that allows the training to produce such positive effects for so many people regardless of what particular concerns prompted them to use the technology.

No brain is inflexible. But sometimes our brains learn that inflexibility is the best way to survive.

There Is No Normal or Average Brain

Dynamical Neurofeedback® is founded on the principle that the brain is an intelligent, self-organizing dynamical system which can actively utilize information to its own benefit. Viewed from this perspective, the most important element in helping the brain to optimize is simply the provision of accurate information (that is, feedback).

Dynamical NeuroFeedback® More In-Depth

During a session you will wear 2 small sensors on the sides of your head. These pick up the delicate electrical activity of your brain (256 measurements per second) while you listen to the music.  There is absolutely no effort or work required on your part.

Highly sophisticated mathematics are programmed into the technology making it able to measure and give feedback (information) to the central nervous system (CNS) about its activity in its own language. Communicating to the CNS in its self-organizing language, is what directly allows the CNS to determine the usefulness of the feedback provided to it by Dynamical Neurofeedback®.

How the Brain Learns Stability, Flexibility and Resiliency with Dynamical Neurofeedback®

Dynamical Neurofeedback® processes your brain signals very rapidly and when it detects them shifting, the music pauses briefly. These repetitive, micro-interruptions (i.e. deviant or out-of-context stimuli) in the auditory experience is the “feedback”. The interruptions produced by the technology can provide a trigger for the “Orienting Response" in the brain. This is due to the variation of the value of the information that has been received by the brain up to that time. The “Orienting Response” prompts the brain to “return to present” and perceive what is really happening both inside and outside so that it can make a decision on what to do next: that is, how to self-organize (i.e. continue to change state, or to return to the state preceding the interruption).

If the brain's chosen response leads to a decrease in overall discomfort to the brain,

it will continue to use that learned response.

Unconsciously our brain understands the mathematics behind the timing of the pauses, which act a bit like a “rumble strip”. The brain adjusts its activity without any effort from you to stay “within” the rumble strip. The brain does this on its own - Dynamical Neurofeedback® doesn’t tell it to.  It simply provides the central nervous system with information about what it has already done and allows the brain itself to sort out the value of that information. Thereby, harnessing the brain’s intrinsic intelligence to regulate moment by moment.

Life Just Gets Easier

The brain learns from the information it is given until over time and without your conscious awareness or effort, it learns to organize itself more efficiently. The manifestation of this in your life is that cognitive and emotional challenges and barriers drop away, and life just seems easier.

"Non-linear feedback is simple. But its simplicity belies its power.

It’s powerful because it communicates directly with your brain, and there is nothing to interfere with that. There is no outside person having to evaluate or diagnose you, and no outside person deciding what training you need. It’s your brain effectively communicating with itself and making its own changes. Period." Zengar Institute, Inc
